Student Success Coach/Guide

Part Time High School Subject Tutors

Part Time High School Subject Tutors

Student Success Guide   |   20–25 hrs/week   |   August 2026

The heartbeat of daily school life — not a teacher, but a coach, mentor, and culture-builder who keeps every student seen, supported, and on track.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Genuinely great with 16 & 17 year old boys — warm, firm, and hard to rattle

• Skilled at executive functioning support, transitions, and conflict repair

• Proactive — notices what needs to happen and does it without being asked

• Comfortable in a startup school environment that's still growing

• Interested in AI for education (proficiency a plus; strong interest required)

Ideal backgrounds:

CTE, athletic coaching, youth mentorship, camp counseling, AmeriCorps, occupational therapy, behavior analysis (BCBA), social work, school counseling, adventure education, former military, physical education

💰 $20-$24 / hr

Part Time High School Subject Tutors

Part Time High School Subject Tutors

Part Time High School Subject Tutors

Part-Time Subject Tutors   |   5–12 hrs/week   |   August 2026

We're expanding our tutor team and looking for subject-area specialists who love working with high schoolers who learn differently. Teaching certification is a plus but not required.

Open subjects:

Biology · Civics · Economics ·  Writing

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced teaching students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and/or ADHD — patience and flexibility are essential

• Able to use online curriculum platforms (like ASU dual credit) as a foundation — then bring it to life through hands-on, personalized, mastery-based lessons

• Skilled at student-led learning approaches — not just lecture and worksheet

• Looking for a small number of focused hours — not a full-time load

• Actively building AI literacy for education or motivated to do so

Ideal backgrounds:

Subject-area teachers, college instructors, or career professionals in their field (e.g. a finance professional teaching economics). Experience or training in dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or ADHD is a strong plus.

💰 $30/hr

Project-Based Learning (PBL) Facilitator

Project-Based Learning Facilitator   |   8–20 hrs/week   |   August 2026

\

This is a creative, flexible role for someone who can design and facilitate real-world, hands-on projects for high schoolers — not poster-board busy work, but meaningful projects that solve actual problems, build skills, and connect students to the world around them.

Think: launching a small business, designing a community solution, building a mentorship program, creating something that didn't exist before.

Focus areas include:

Entrepreneurship · Career & College Prep · CTE · Maker/Studio Arts · STEM · Community Impact · Life Skills

We're looking for someone who is:

• Creative, flexible, and energized by building something from scratch

• Experienced in project-based or experiential learning — or deeply coachable and motivated to learn

• Comfortable with ambiguity and student-driven direction

• Able to connect learning to real-world relevance — career, community, identity

• Proficient or actively building skills in AI for lesson personalization and project design

Ideal backgrounds:

Experiential education, maker/studio arts, entrepreneurship, community organizing, youth program design, CTE, music or arts education, occupational therapy, military, AmeriCorps, or anyone who has built something real with young people

💰 $30/hr

CTE Teacher with Potential to Build CTE Program

CTE Teacher (Part-Time)  |  5 hrs/week w/ room to grow | August 2026

We're looking for a CTE-credentialed or experienced educator to start with one class and grow it into a full CTE program over time. This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone who wants to build something — not just teach to a standard.

Possible class areas:

Entrepreneurship · Business Math · Career & College Prep · Economics · Life Skills · Trades Preparation

We're looking for someone who is:

• CTE certified or has strong equivalent experience in workforce/career education

• Experienced teaching high schoolers — comfort with students who thrive outside traditional classrooms a plus

• Flexible — classes may be structured as semester units or year-long rotating topics

• Comfortable with AI tools for lesson design and student personalization

Growth opportunity: For the right person, there is real potential to grow this into a full CTE program director role as we build out our entrepreneurship, apprenticeship, trades, and career prep programming.

💰 $25-$30 / hr.
